Abstract: Ensuring the quality of higher education is one of the Government of Bangladesh’s main priorities. Demographic pressure and growing social demand for higher education have resulted in a tremendous increase in student enrolment and the number of universities over the last decade. The presence of private and international universities in the system has improved access to higher education in Bangladesh, but it has also created greater need for monitoring and regulating the quality of higher education services.
