dc.description.abstractA fourth order non-linear differential equation modeling an over damped system is considered. A perturbation technique based on the Krylov-Bogoliubov-Mitropolskii(KBM) method is developed for obtaining the transient response in the presented method agree with results obtained by numerical method nicely. The method is illustrated by an example.en_US
