Wireless capsule endoscopy (WCE) is a non-invasive imaging process. In wireless capsule endoscopy system, a tiny wireless camera is used to take image of patient digestive tract. This paper introduces a Microstrip patch antenna which operates at MICS band (402–406 MHz) for wireless capsule endoscopy. MICS band meets requirement with high data rate transmission, low power, long range (10 ft.), leads to design miniaturized antenna and compatible signal propagation characteristics in the human body. All the important parameter related to the proposed antenna such as operating frequency, bandwidth, return loss, VSWR < 2, radiation pattern has investigated through simulation and measurement.en_US
