Abstract: High intrinsic 3dB modulation bandwidth in asymmetric active multimode interferometer laser diode is demonstrated by using split pumping configuration. Significant enhancement of 3 dB intrinsic bandwidth up to 24.6 GHz has been confirmed successfully by using this scheme
