dc.description.abstractPlant extract can be the alternated cost-effective and ecofriendly source of electrolyte for the electrochemical cell. In this study, six types of plant extract electrolyte have been used on the electrochemical cell, and the electrical performances of six bio-electrochemical cells were investigated. The highest average voltage (1.14 V), current (21.25 mA) were obtained for PKL extract cell, and the lowest performances were found for aloe vera cell. The power and capacity were also calculated for this all cell. All electrical performances of PKL extract cell were more significant than other plants extract electrolyte cells. The electrical performances of all of these bio-electrochemical cells have been graphically represented in this paper. This comparative study regarding the performances of different electrochemical cells may open a promising platform for ecofriendly, cost-effective power production.en_US
