A Simple Information Retrieval Technique

Abstract

This research examines and analyzes the information retrieval techniques. The amount of information available over networks grows every day. This information worths being accessed and structured. Indexation and information retrieval are essential tasks to realize these objectives. This paper proposes an information retrieval technique which can retrieve appropriate document among a lot of documents. For doing this first, simplify all the documents. Then remove stop words and punctuations. It also calculates the term frequency, inverse term frequency, weight of each term etc. Here the proposed technique constructs the master document matrix. By this information retrieval technique anyone can easily search expected document from a collection of documents.
